Flutter Snap Up Italian Operator Sisal For £1.6 Billion

Online gambling operator Flutter Entertainment has announced the acquisition of Italian gaming company Sisal for £1.62 billion. The deal will help Flutter boost the companies market presence in Italy to 20%.
Sisal was owned by CVC Capital Partners is also in the race to win the UK Lottery license and has businesses in Morocco and Turkey along with its major presence in Italy.
