Blizzard hits 30 million

Blizzard has announced they have over 30 million users now for their collectible card battle game Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft. In a message from their Twitter account Blizzard said that the milestone had been reached ahead of time.

The game was launched in beta form over two years ago in 2013, with the full launch in March 2014. With the game enjoying a huge surge in popularity since then with its own Hearthstone World Championship featuring a total prize fund of $250k.

With an Android tablet version of the game launched back in December 2014, and the iPhone and Android smartphone versions finally arriving last month, all looks up and up for Blizzard and their hit game.
