Twitter pulls plug on retro games

Twitter have blocked users from embedding old games like Donkey Kong & Pac-Man using MS-DOS for users to play without any reason from the social media giant.

It was thought that Twitter did not mind the inclusion of the games in their feed but now have withdrawn the option of embedding MS-DOS in twitter messages for people to play the retro games that were so popular in the eighties and early nineties.

Reasoning for the Twitter pulling the plug is believed to be it is in violation of Twitter rules on the website even thou it was allowed for over a week.

The rule on Twitter says: ‘Do not build end-to-end interactive experiences inside the video or audio player unrelated to player card content.’
